Hi, I’m Kara

Meet Kara! She is a beautiful 18 month-old brown tabby with a gentle soul and a quiet charm. While she may be a little shy at first, once she feels safe and settled, her sweet personality truly begins to shine. Kara can become easily overwhelmed in large, open spaces, so to set her up for success in her new home, she will need to start out in a small "launch room" where she can decompress and adjust at her own pace. With patience and understanding, she will gradually gain the confidence to explore the rest of the home. Kara would thrive with a patient and understanding adopter who recognizes that she may be timid in a new environment and will need time to show her true self. She is looking for someone who will let her move at her own pace and celebrate her small victories along the way. She may do well with teens or older children who understand basic cat body language and know when to give her space. Kara could also benefit from living with another confident, friendly cat who can help her feel more secure.
With slow, monitored introductions, she may do okay in a home with a calm, social dog as well. If you're ready to offer a safe, loving home and the time Kara needs to blossom, she may be the perfect addition to your family. 💛
