Hi, I’m Syrax

Hi there, my name is Syrax and I'm a juvenile Eastern Bearded Dragon. You would usually see my species down the Eastern Coast of Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and into South Australia. You may have seen wild animals just like me lounging in your backyard!

I have been practicing my side-eye and tree poses as you can see in my photos! I'm not the biggest fan of being picked up, but I'm just a little lizard in a big world. I will need to continue my handling training to get more comfortable with humans!

I'm an omnivorous lizard, I require a wide range of vegetables and insects to help me grow big and strong. I enjoy my raised platform and rock to bask on, as you can see! I also require a UV light, heat lamp and a hide if I need a getaway. I'm just a juvenile and will grow to over 40cm, so I will need an enclosure upgrade as I grow.
