Our juvenile chickens are growing, learning, and discovering the world one peck at a time! Still young and developing their personalities, they're looking for caring adopters who can offer a safe, nurturing home where they can flourish into confident adult birds.

Juvenile chickens thrive in homes that can provide:

- A secure, predator‑proof coop with appropriate shelter and ventilation.
- Plenty of space to roam, scratch, and explore as they grow.
- A balanced diet suited for young birds, along with fresh water daily.
- Enrichment and social time, such as foraging opportunities and interaction with other gentle flock members.
- Patience and understanding as their temperaments, sizes, and even genders continue to develop.

As they mature, these young birds may show more of their unique quirks whether they become bold explorers, calm companions, or dedicated foragers. With the right care and environment, they'll blossom into healthy, happy chickens who bring joy, personality, and life to any backyard flock.

  • A property check may be required before ADOPTION to ensure the safety and welfare of adoption animals. Rental agreements allowing pets will be required for adoptions into rental properties. Differential pricing may apply.

  • While our shelters are open, not every pet available for adoption will be onsite and available in person. To express your interest, Apply to Adopt online and if it's a perfect match you will be shortlisted and contacted via phone by our Adoption Team to discuss the animal in detail.
