Hey there, Bug here, your lovely Australorp rooster! Cock-a-doodle-do!

Sadly, I became lost from my family and was rescued by the RSPCA. I literally turned up at the front door of the RSPCA. I'm coping really well though. I would appreciate a new family to call my own that I can interact with. Do I sound like the kind of rooster you're looking for?

Bug is a shy but beautiful Australorp rooster looking for a gentle home.

His breed known for their calm temperament, hardiness, and glossy black feathers that shimmer with an iridescent green sheen. Australorps are famously sweet-natured, steady birds who make wonderful additions to backyard flocks and Bug is no exception.

This lovely boy has had minimal human exposure, so he's naturally on the shy, cautious side. With patience, quiet handling, and a kind routine, Bug has every chance to grow into a confident flock guardian. He's observant, respectful, and prefers to take the world at his own pace. The carers here haven't heard him crow much, he's more on the quieter side, that may change was he's in his forever home.

Bug would thrive in a home where he can live safely with a group of hens, offering companionship and protection in return. With time and gentle care, this sweet Australorp boy will settle in beautifully.
