Herbie is a young, affectionate boy with a gentle, sensitive nature. He loves being included in family life and would thrive with indoor/outdoor access so he can enjoy both comfort and fun.
While he can be a little unsure in new environments and may tense up with close handling, a calm, patient adopter will help him settle beautifully. Having someone home for the first few days will make a big difference as he adjusts.
He loves his food and will benefit from enrichment feeding to keep his mind active. Toys are another passion-tug-o-war especially! He's still learning his trade‑out skills, so a home with older children who can give him space around high‑value items is best.
Herbie can be worried by other dogs and prefers to move away from pushy interactions, so gentle exposure and confidence-building will help him feel secure.

- While our shelters are open, not every pet available for adoption will be onsite and available in person. To express your interest, Apply to Adopt online and if it's a perfect match you will be shortlisted and contacted via phone by our Adoption Team to discuss the animal in detail.
