Hi, I’m Bowie

Bowie is a sweet, affectionate younger boy who is looking or a calm, quiet home with structure and routine.

To be allowed indoors to be a part of the family. He can be a bit of an attention hog and loves to be in the middle of it. May need to work on calm behaviours, practice 4 paws and impulse control.

He may do well with crate training as it can provide him a place to go when feeling worried or overwhelmed.

Bowie enjoys playing with toys. Needs to continue to work on his 'drop' cue but is happy to trade out items for treats.

Can be a bit uncomfortable with close handling, his family members need to be mindful of this during interactions, positive force-free interactions and touch consent breaks will do wonders in building a bond!

Loves his food and enrichment. Recommend feeding all meals from enrichment to help keep his mind active and stimulated

He can be nervous to walk on lead and is unsure of unfamiliar environments. Recommend working on confidence building and practicing some lead walking in the backyard first before progressing to the outside world.

Must meet other dogs at time of adoption. Recommend, calm social, doggy friend
