Meet Blue!
Big, beautiful Blue was a very much-loved family pet who, through nobody's fault, had to be surrendered to us. His previous owners have done a terrific job with him. They rescued him a couple of years ago when he was quite the "wild child". They put time into training, socialising & exercising him & he had a big turnaround in his behaviour.
Blue is a big, strong lad who needs space to run & play - he's a big fan of doing The Zoomies! He has lived with kids in the past & got along very well with them. He was the family dog who lived indoors with his people & is toilet trained. We would love to find him that sort of environment again. He bonds very strongly with his people & would not thrive being left alone for hours in a back yard.
Blue gets very excited when it's time for "Walkies"! He is working on his leash skills & currently benefits from a front attach "no-pull' harness. With some ongoing positive reinforcement training, he can have a bit of a refresher course in walking nicely on a lead.
Blue very much enjoys the company of other dogs & we will happily set up a meet & greet if you already share your life with a canine companion.
Apparently, Blue is not a fan of cats!
Blue is crate trained & enjoys having access to his crate as it is his safe space. He will be adopted with his crate which his previous owners asked us to pass on with him when he finds a new home. He will also have his own harness which he is used to.
Blue is a striking looking fellow with a huge heart & bucketloads of love to give. If you are a fan of big, goofy, smoochy dogs, then Blue might just be your guy!

- While our shelters are open, not every pet available for adoption will be onsite and available in person. To express your interest, Apply to Adopt online and if it's a perfect match you will be shortlisted and contacted via phone by our Adoption Team to discuss the animal in detail.
