Hi, I’m Frodo

My name is Frodo and I'm a Stimson's Python x Children's Python. We hang out in a large belt from the coast of Western Australia, across most of the Northern Territory, northern South Australia and into western Queensland. Sand dunes, rocky outcrops and dry riverbeds are our favourite places!

I love to hangout on the lower part of my enclosure, hiding away in the warmth. But I still need a rock or basking spot to curl up on and get my UV! I am able to be picked up with hands but sometimes I require a hook. Just remember that I'm still young so pick me up slowly or I'll get a fright.

My cage needs to come with all the amenities of a hide, water bowl, sticks to climb, UV light and heat lamp. I will eventually grow to be around 1m and will require a new enclosure as I grow, so that I can stretch out comfortably.
